Cambridge Road Residence

A contemporary reinterpretation of a 40-year-old existing residential building while maintaining its charm and character within the high-end residential district. The design introduces modern elements and materials featuring conventional and honeycomb stone claddings set against ceramic tiles, metal framed strip windows and louvers to highlight horizontal layers juxtaposed against the vertical limestone-clad stair core. The louvred strip visually conceals all mechanical and plumbing elements while providing a visual feature on the corner lot. The minimalist interiors provide a neutral backdrop for colourful rugs and artworks.
